The Studio
Start with nothing, or with what you have.
Put your own building blocks on the stage and tell ASENSE what they are, what they do and what you want from them. She connects them, maps them and runs them, and the map changes under your eyes as you talk. Or open one of our research maps, or a wicked problem in crypto we have already mapped, and change it with her.
The forge
Summon a pattern onto your subject.
A pattern is a loop structure that turns up everywhere: in a company, a city, a protocol, a family. Name the subject, pick the pattern, and ASENSE takes your subject's own parts and sets them in the pattern's loops, with the lever where the pattern says it sits, a shape that shows it, its motion over time, and what emerges when the loops run together. Leave the pattern open and she picks the one your subject already is.
- The pattern it already isShe reads the subject and chooses: the loops it already runs, named.
- Limits to growthGrowth that feeds itself, then a limit that bites as the stock nears it. The lever is at the limit, not the engine.
- Shifting the burdenA fast fix for the symptom, a slow fix for the cause, and the fast one eroding the slow one.
- Fixes that failA fix that works now, and its consequence returning after a delay, worse.
- Success to the successfulTwo loops fed by one shared resource; whoever is ahead draws more of it.
- EscalationTwo sides each answering the other's last move; together, one spiral.
- Tragedy of the commonsMany uses of one commons, and the commons depleting with a delay. The lever is the rule of the commons.
- Growth and underinvestmentGrowth, a capacity limit, and investment that comes late.
- Accidental adversariesTwo partners whose fixes obstruct each other.
- Drifting goalsClosing the gap to the goal, or lowering the goal to close the gap.
- The commons fundThis site's own: asks feed delivered work, work feeds trust, trust feeds votes; a ceiling that is never minted.
She draws it on the stage below, where you can move, link, group, deepen and run it.
Your map
Drag a block to move it. Tap it to open it; take it out from there. Add a block for each thing that matters: the people, the money, the rules, the goal.
Each move goes through her door. If she has not admitted you yet, the door opens with your question waiting on it.
From our research, one map at a time.
Open a map as your starting draft and change it with her, or have her draw it fresh from the article it came from.
A wicked problem in crypto, already mapped once.
Each is one practice of the Dash DAO or one sub-system of the blockchain field, read by ASENSE in her passes. Open it and argue with it.
